1st Gold and counting...

Today just got to know that Abhinab Bindra Has won first Gold Medal in any individual event for the country... Making History he writes in his blog under the heading " Now we are Officially welcomed" Bindra writes about the hectic schedue he is currently experiencing ang the way he is going to rest after the event. His Parent's special prayers at a Gurudwara has been answered with the Gold medal. This is the First gold medal ever won by any indian in any individual event.

This is a perfect gift for the country on the eve of the forth coming Independence Day. Gagan narang the ace shooter stood 9th in the event where all 51 participants were there across the globe. This is a jaw shaking news for all indians and we should be proud of the same. With the other events where we are hardly putting any impact on the word Bindra shoot the bull's eye with perfect 104.5 points to win gold. Bindra with the Gold medal in his hands and the national anthem being played it was really a sentimental momment for every indian.

Yesterday was a glorious day as it gave India two other Medals in teh On going Beijing olympics. The day before yesterday when Akhil Kumar Lost his match followed by jitender's loss the indian hopes got shaked but yesterday as Boxer bijender's day as he secured his position in the Semifinals makin sure a medal for india. now he is aiming ro win Gold and make us proud.
Secondly the Arjuna awardee Sushil Kumar won his match in freestyle Wrestling Competition to wina Bronze medal for India. The ace wrestler made history when he won a Bronze medal where he did not get the basic facilities to practice the game. Now When he has won a medal everybody is backing him and awarding him but if we could provide them the basic facilities then I am sure we can get a huge bunch of Medals in games of international repute...
